Leon and Valerie

Leon and Valerie Hunt are the owners of KIVY 92.7 FM and 1290 AM.  They have owned the station for over six years.  They work together to bring the best quality of music to you.  Leon and Valerie are greatly appreciated and loved at KIVY by their employees.  Leon can be reached at KIVY at (936) 544-2171.

Lonnie Hunt

Lonnie Hunt is Leon’s brother and is currently the County Judge of Houston County.  He has been on air on the morning show for many years and has been County Judge for about two years.  He greatly enjoys doing both and is a lively morning show personality.  Lonnie does the news and hosts the morning programs from 6:30 am until 8:00 am.  Joanne joins Lonnie on the morning show from 8:00 am until 10:00 am.

Joanne Warner

Joanne Warner has been working at KIVY for about six years.  She is a morning show personality and she hosts the “Swap Shop.”  Joanne's other responsibilities include doing remotes, sales, and keeping the office lively.  Joanne can be reached at (936) 544-2171 or e-mail her at joanne@kivy.com.

Kristina Waldrep

Kristina Waldrep is the traffic and accounting manager for KIVY, KMVL, and KTKC Radio, and she also does some sales.  You can even hear her on the the "Swap Shop"!  She has been working at KIVY for 2 years and loves her job! Kristina can be reached Monday- Friday from

Vince Astramovich

Vince has been working at KIVY since 2000.  His job description includes production programming, the noon news broadcasting, the five o’clock news broadcast, and a little of everything else.  He greatly enjoys working in radio production. Craig Reed

Craig Reed has worked for KIVY for 12 years and is the host of Classic Country with Craig Reed every Saturday night.  He works at the barber shop next to the station and has done so for forty years.  If you’d like to hear him and the Classic Country show, tune in to 92.7 FM from 7:00 pm until midnight on Saturday nights.

Charlie Bobbitt

Charlie Bobbitt has returned to the air after 30 years!  You can hear Charlie on KIVY 92.7 FM, 1290 AM and KMVL 100.5 FM and 1220 AM on Sunday mornings from 6 am until 11 am for Southern Gospel Sunday or on weekday mornings from 6am-6:30am with the Farm and Ranch Report on KIVY 92.7 FM and 1290 AM. Johnny Lawrence

Johnny Lawrence has been doing the “Play by Play” for KIVY radio sports for over 22 years.  Johnny and Jim Dowell can be heard on the radio broadcasting most of the sports games for Crockett.  If you’d like to hear them, tune into 92.7 FM or 1290 AM on game nights.

Jim Dowell

Jim Dowell is the partner of Johnny Lawrence on the “Play by Play” on game nights.  He has been doing the games for Crockett for a little over two years now.  He loves broadcasting the games for KIVY and does a great job at it.  To hear him, tune into 92.7 FM or 1290 AM on game nights.

Katy Riemenschneider

Katy is the newest member of the KIVY team working the front desk answering phones. Formerly from Beaumont, she recently moved to Crockett and married. She can be reached Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. @ 936-544-2171.

Rusty Shaw

Rusty is the sports broadcaster for KIVY and KMVL radio.  He can be heard at 7:30 am, 12:00 pm, and 5:00 pm with the local sports around Crockett.  He'll also tell you about the games that KIVY will be broadcasting on game nights.  Tune into 92.7 FM to hear his report.

Chick Watkins

Chick Watkins is the Adult Standards Program Director. His storied track record includes a tour of duty as PD of the Adult Contemporary format, 14 years as PD and OM of WCUE AM/FM Akron, 12 years Talent/Production Manager and PD of WGAR Cleveland, and two years as PD and OM with KOY-AM/FM Phoenix.

Jeff Rollins

Jeff Rollins is a Morning Personality for the Adult Standards Music Program. His background includes stops at KKSA Sacramento; KLZE and KEEN, San Jose; WBOC-AM/FM/TV, Salisbury, MD; WCHS-AM/FM/TV, Charleston, WV; KFOG and KNBR, San Francisco; and KFWB, Los Angeles. (6a-11a ET)

Carl Hampton

Carl Hampton is a 25-year veteran of broadcasting. He has appeared as a personality on a variety of formats carried by Jones Radio Networks. Over the past 12 years, Carl has served as Operations Manager and a personality for JRN's "Music of Your Life" and "Jones Standards" formats. This strong background and love for the music makes Carl an ideal addition to the Adult Standards format. (11a-3p ET)

Ed Brand arrived in Los Angeles after five years as one of Boston's most listened-to midday personalities, on WMJX-FM. Ed learned the ropes as assistant Music Director for New York's legendary WNEW-AM. Ed began his on-air career at WSRS-FM in Worcester, MA and WLKW-FM in Providence, RI. (3p-8p ET)

Mark Haden

Mark Haden is a 20-year radio veteran with experience on the AC and Soft AC formats. He was PD with KKNG-FM, Oklahoma City, OM/PD at KWHK, Hutchinson, Kansas, and midday air talent/Production Director at KEYN, Wichita. His first PD job was with KJCK in Junction City, Kansas. (8p-1a ET)

Bill Jones

Bill Jones has spent the last 20 years with the company in addition to air work at KMPC-AM and KLIT-FM. He has been an afternoon drive personality at WAMB, Nashville, air-personality at WZEZ, Nashville, morning drive personality for WKOS, Nashville, and booth announcer for WFYZ-TV.

Lisa Osborne has 14 years experience in radio at leading Los Angeles and Ventura County radio stations as Program Director, Morning Show Host, newscaster & traffic reporter for major market stations KFI-AM, KOST-FM, AM 1590 "The Connection" and KOCP-FM "The Octopus".

Casey Hayes

Casey Hayes has spent 15 years as a full time host with the company. He has also worked as operations director, talk show host, production director, copywriter and on-air personality at numerous Los Angeles-area radio stations. Additionally he performs a variety of voice-over work and host charity events.

Joe Daniels

Joe Daniels has been with Dial Global since 1991; Adult Standards is his second stop with the company. Joe has spent most of his varied broadcast career in the Los Angeles market and has played everything from Oldies to Classic Rock to CHR!
