DELORES E. BYNUM

Delores E. Bynum passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at her home at the age of 63 years. She was born on February 1, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Henry & Ruth (Sims) Meek. Delores had been a resident of Leon County since 1978 and was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Houston. She loved gardening, quilting, embroidery and sewing. She also had a great love for her grandchildren and always made a point of attending everything in which they were involved to show her support.

Delores was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Meek in 2002; brother, Curtis Meek in 2001; and grandson, Christian.

Surviving family includes husband, Gary Bynum of Buffalo; father, Henry Meek of Buffalo; sons, Chace Bynum & wife, Robin of Troup and Travis Bynum & wife, Traci of Buffalo; daughter, Shawna Sutton & husband, Bradley of Palestine; sister, Brenda Schaedler of the Flo community; grandchildren, Emma, Suvonna, Zachary, Dustin, Chase, Trisdon and Trinidy; great grandchildren, Westley and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 10 A.M., May 25, 2013 at the Bynum residence with Bro. Phil Smith officiating.

Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo is in charge of all arrangements.

Funeral services for Alvin Dean "Flea Bag" Sandles, age 48 will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11 AM in the Church of the Living God with Rev. John McKnight officiating. Interment will follow in the Southside Cemetery of Midway. Visitation will be held Friday in the Emanuel Funeral Home of Crockett from 10 AM until 6 PM.

INEZ A. HULL

Graveside services for Inez A. Hull, age 98, of Crockett, and formerly Centerville, will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Old Shiloh Cemetery near Woodville, Texas. Pastor Tuffy Loftin, of the Cowboy Church of Leon County will officiate the service.

There will be no public visitation.

Inez A. Hull was born on June 25, 1914 in Port Arthur, Texas to Ernst Charles & Alma Pearl (Kirkland) Schneider. She married her husband, W.C. Hull, on July 19, 1935. They were married for fifty-three years before he went to be with the Lord. Mrs. Hull was a good wife and mother and was a homemaker her whole life. She loved to play "42" and other games. She also still played volleyball at the age of eighty-three years! Mrs. Hull had lived with her son, Bobby Hull in Centerville since 2000 until her health began to fail. She passed away May 15, 2013 in Crockett, Texas. 

Surviving family includes son, Bobby W. Hull of Centerville; daughter, Beth Ann (Hull) Perry of Centerville; sister, Ernestine Horton & husband, H.W. of Flower Mound; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; nineteen great, great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

CHARLES LYNN REID

Mr. Charles Lynne "Bugger" Reid, age 54, of Lovelady, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Rusk and was resident of Lovelady for the past 30 years. Mr. Reid had worked as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Corrections and was a member of the Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trail riding and making people laugh.

Survivors include wife; Dianne Reid of Lovelady; parents, Floyd and Shirley Reid of Grapeland; daughters, Carolyn Sutton and husband, Shane of Kopperl, Crystal Yott of Spring, April Carroll and husband, Doug of Bryan; brother, Billy Reid and wife, Sandy of Lovelady, Frank Reid of Lovelady, Randy Reid and wife, Delisa of Weches; grandchildren, Matt Sutton and wife, Magen of Waco, Brittany Sutton of Kopperl, Hunter Yott of Spring, Conner Yott of Spring, Stephen Carroll of Bryan, Justin Carroll of Bryan and Andrew Carroll of Bryan; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Lynn "Bugger" Reid will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2 P.M. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Kleckley officiating. Internemtn will follow in the Holly Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening beginning at 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bugger Reid Memorial Account at Lovelady State Bank. The family would like to thank American Cancer Society and Hospice in the Pines.

JOE LYNN SADLER

Funeral services for Joe Lynn Sadler, age 77, of Lake Limestone, formerly Corpus Christi, will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Rev. Charles Fake, retired and former minister of First Baptist Church Rockport, Texas, will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the New Salem Cemetery southeast of Centerville. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Walters Funeral Home.

Joe Lynn Sadler was born on June 4, 1935 in Oletha, TX to Louie J. & Berta (Holliday) Sadler. He received his undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University and his PhD from the University of Texas in Analytical Chemistry. He worked most of his career for Celanese Chemical Company. Mr. Sadler enjoyed working on his ranch in Leon County. He was an avid freshwater and saltwater fisherman. He also spent time scuba diving in the Gulf and Caribbean. During winter months Mr. Sadler and his wife enjoyed snow skiing in Colorado, New Mexico and the Alps. He also took pleasure in traveling all over the United States and the world. Mr. Sadler's greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. He had resided in Lake Limestone since 1994 and was a Baptist by faith. Mr. Sadler passed away at his home on May 15, 2013.

Survivors include wife, Ann Sadler of Lake Limestone; son, Jim Sadler (Theresa) of Corpus Christi; daughters, Vickie Lynn Hughes of Houston and Christina Annette Lacey of Centerville; sisters, Ann Sadler Walston of Lake Limestone and Gwen Sadler Moore of Dallas; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
